ASB Packed Valves

Evergreen stocks the line of Sherwood’s ASB packed valves, the 1214 Series.  These valves have been designed for applications that use chlorine gas, chlorine liquids, corrosive gases, insecticides, fumigants, preservatives, and bleaching agents.

Aluminum Silicone Bronze (ASB) Packed Valves manufactured by Sherwood are specially designed for use in environments with corrosive gases, fumigants, chlorine, bleaching agents, insecticides and preservatives. All the ASB Packed Valves available at Evergreen Midwest Co. are manufactured with reliable, high-quality material to offer safety and convenience to users.

• Positive shut-off due to one-piece Monel stem design
• Inlets and outlets as per CGA standard connections and also complies with international connections
• Leak resistant stem seal

• Tapped inlet threads (optional) for dip tube assembly

Aluminum Silcon Bronze valve body offers proven resistance against corrosive gases. Available with or without a pressure relief device. One piece Monel stem. Compressed Gas Association outlets CGA 330 and CGA 660. Hydrogen Sulfide, HCL & HCS, Methyl Bromide, Baron Trifluoride, Hydrogen Chloride Anhydrous, SO2 & CL2, Class "A" poison.
