Dip and Syphon Tubes

As large companies cannot just shut down their pipelines when a leaking pipe is found for repair or a valve part needs to be installed or replaced, they use an innovative method – pipe freezing technology where liquid CO2 is distributed onto the pipe to form dry ice that freezes the cylinder contents allowing service technicians to perform his job.

Dip tube or Syphon tube is used to draw CO2 from the bottom of the cylinder through high pressure hoses on to the pipe. Dip tubes are made of copper are usually connected to the CO2 tank valves and goes down to the bottom of the cylinder.
