Dual Fuel Valves
Dual fuel valves are made to be used with engines that are bi-fuel - Hydrogen & CNG. Sherwood Valves manufacture these valves to be especially efficient for multi-fuel engines.
Key Features:
- No multiple joints. Dual fuel valves feature a dual outlet design -> permits manifolding w/out tees or adapters.
- Reduced vents and purge times due to increased flow
- Individual cylinder isolation does not require shutting off manifold b/c outlets located above valve seat
- No seat extrusion, polymer seat’s cold flow -> crimped seat
- Reduced leak points, lesser components = ideal for direct manifold connections
- Capable of accommodating high-priority gas applications -> dual fuel valves available in multiple seat material configurations
- Low operating torque design to ensure easy operation (both during use and filling)
- Standard CGA connections along with international outlets and inlets
- Unitized Pressure Relief Device, unbacked burst disc or fuse metal back.
