Line Station Valves

Line Station Valves

Every receiver needs to have a station valve. Line station valves can be built-in or may be mounted near individual receivers. They are usually mounted above the receivers; however some brands allow mounting them on their side so that they can be located below or behind the receivers. The line station valves minimize overhead clutter and are easier to reach.

Vacuum passes through the sequencing valve when the disc is positioned in a closed position. As soon as a signal is passed to the valve to load the receiver, the disc opens by allowing vacuum into the receiver. The receiver consists of a reinforced filter disc which allows the air to pass through it while preventing the pellets from getting drawn into the vacuum line. The station valves also feature a handy visual indicator that indicates proper operation of the valves. The receiver will never load if the indicator is always in a raised position.

Evergreen carries Station Valves available for Oxygen and Fuel Gas. Available in 1/2" and 3/4" inlets. The 7160 series valves are designed for use with oxygen and all fuel gases at station outlets of line distribution systems such as welder’s benches, cutting stations, hospital rooms, etc.
